We all know that back to school means that we will now have high-school age employees as part of our staff.

For many in our industry, this can be frustrating.  This demographic is seen as unreliable, unmotivated, and difficult to engage.

  • Constructive Feedback: Provide constructive feedback that helps them improve, and make sure to highlight what they're doing well.

  • Involve Them in Decision-Making: When appropriate, involve them in decision-making processes. This can make them feel more valued and invested in their work.
