Why are we so passionate about onsite visits?

We believe that in order to deliver real change in your operations, we must first meet your team where they are.  For our FOODIFY team to be effective, it isn’t enough to hold them accountable for their role.  We must first take the time to understand their current role, and observe them in action before building a customized plan for real results.

What is our team looking for when they are observing your operations and your team? Is this really something that is different from the reports generated by my software or CFO?

YES.

Our team is focused on the following areas:

1. Manager performance:

The FOODIFY team performs evaluates your management team in action, providing detailed feedbacl on how effectively a manager performs their duties, including their interaction with staff and customers, problem-solving abilities, and overall leadership effectiveness.

2. Training and Technical Knowledge:

By observing managers in their interaction with the staff as well as in their daily duties, the FOODIFY team is also evaluating the areas the manager may need additional training. Do they have a strong knowledge of food safety?  Do they struggle with customer service? Observing the manager in action is the starting point to creating targeted development plans to enhance their skills.

3. Customer Experience:

Managers play a key role in shaping the customer experience. As FOODIFY experts, we believe that by observing them interact in their normal environment, we ensure that they are maintaining high standards of service, addressing customer concerns promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

4. Process Improvement:

Taking the time to be onsite and ‘meet the team where they are’, we are able to gain insights into the day-to-day operations and how processes are being implemented. This can highlight inefficiencies or bottlenecks that need to be addressed to improve overall workflow.

5. Leadership Style:

Witnessing firsthand the manager's leadership style and its impact on team morale and productivity can offer valuable feedback. This helps in aligning their approach with the restaurant’s values and goals.

These five elements of our onsite assessment enable our team to build a comprehensive 30-60-90 day action plan that can be implemented by your team immediately.
